The 52 cards of the game are divided into four groups of 13 cards ranging from Ace to Queen. The four groups are represented by four symbols:Staves, Cups, Swords and Coins. These symbols do not affect the possibilities of play. They are the equivalent of famous hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades.
